This lean-to conservatory was built as a replacement for an existing structure on a Victorian listed building.
The conservatory was carefully designed to replicate the original conservatory and was built using soft wood joinery finished in “Sikkens” mahogany stain. The roof work glazing bars are built using “Code 7” lead sheet, laid over “Mop Stick” & welded. The conservatory is completely glazed with “K-Glass” sealed units.
The project pictured here consisted of a veranda leading through a doorway into an octagonal-shaped conservatory.
The joinery, posts, rafters and handrails are all of douglas fir whilst the underside of the veranda roof is of tg & v boarding with a fibre slate roof.
The veranda has a doorway leading through into the octagonal-shaped conservatory.
The conservatory itself is also constructed from douglas fir with a polycarbonate roof.
The fixed windowlights have a curved shape, are all double-glazed and finished with a sikkens stain.
This Victorian style lean-to garden shed has a glazed door and panel, has a roof covered with high-performance felt, and its joinery is finished with gloss paint.
